We are currently revising some policies and procedures and are looking for help from the membership on the following policies & procedures: grant application process, high performance program manual, tournament guidelines & application. D2 & D3 Men’s Competitions

This information was sent via email to your club contacts on file with the FRU. If you did not receive this email please update using the form on the club contacts page.

“Attached is the final Florida Cup Information and the approved schedule timings for both the Men’s D2 & D3 schedules. Each club needs complete their special requests for matches by Friday afternoon so I can have the first draft of the exact match schedule out by late next week.  Please go to www.floridarugbyunion.com/competitions to complete your schedule requests (this link will also take you to the referenced attachments).
Key Dates for everyone to remember for the fall:
  • September 12th & 13th – Rugby Development Summit – Likely in Sebastian. – Includes: Coach Development, Referee Development, Level 200 Coach Certification and the FYRU AGM.
  • November 7th & 8th – Florida Cup Finals / All Florida Day – two day event – multiple divisions. More Information to follow in the coming weeks
For teams in the Orange Cup, I have also attached draft of the new Orange Cup rules. I would like to finalize these next week as well. If teams could give us feedback on them that would be great. “
